Drive sales growth and profitability by expanding the customer base and delivering value-added automation solutions
Responsibilities
- Execute sales and marketing plans to generate leads and achieve sales and profit targets.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through visits, value-added services, and technical solutions.
- Prepare technical proposals and provide timely customer responses, including on-site proof of concept (POC) to meet service expectations.
- Gather and share market intelligence on competitors, industry trends, and market outlook to support decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with business partners such as distributors and system integrators.
- Oversee project fulfilment, including system/solution development, coordination with contractors/system integrators, risk assessment and mitigation, testing and commissioning, and acceptance testing.
- Build effective networks with suppliers, system integrators, contractors, and panel builders.
- Plan and execute customer relationship management (CRM) strategies.
- Manage and resolve customer issues, including complaints and postsales support.
- Review sales lead outcomes and communicate customer feedback (VOC) to management.
- Apply project management processes to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-5 years of B2B sales experience in factory automation or related industries such as manufacturing, electronics, biomedical, healthcare, building, or infrastructure.
- Good understanding of current technological trends including Internet of Things (IoT), Industry 4.0, and cybersecurity.
- Strong professionalism, selfmanagement, discipline, and a collaborative team spirit.
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good communication, sales negotiation, and time management skills.
- PLC programming, mechanical design, or related technical background is an added advantage.
