We are seeking a Senior Application Engineer with at least 4 years of experience to support regional strategic accounts, with a focus on interpreting customer requirements, delivering tailored solutions, and managing expectations. The role involves acting as a consultant to sales teams and clients, ensuring project-specific solutions are aligned with technical and commercial goals. Hands-on training, regular travel, and customer engagement are expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for consultants and key accounts.
- Act as a liaison between sales teams and engineering/manufacturing capabilities.
- Develop technical selections, feasibility studies, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses.
- Support sales with accurate project costing and compliance documentation.
- Prepare deviation and exception statements for project proposals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, technical support, commissioning engineers, consultants, and contractors.
- Participate in technical team meetings to align requirements and share progress updates.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure project goals are met.
- Implement user feedback to improve application functionality and customer experience.
- Maintain a proactive and responsive approach to stakeholder needs.
- Provide technical support across data centre facilities/equipment, including:
- Air Handling Units
- CRAC and CRAH units
- Chillers
- ACMV systems and related products
- Liquid Cooling solutions
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments independently and efficiently.
- Balance of back-office technical responsibilities with direct customer engagement.
- Ability to build and leverage relationships with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Willingness to travel (approx. 10%).
Ideal Education / Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, related discipline or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of engineering experience, preferably in data centre environments.
- Knowledge of mechanical, refrigeration, hydraulics, or related systems.
- Fluency in Business English;
