Senior Application Developer Insurance Systems (Singapore)

A leading insurance platform is seeking a Senior Application Developer to support and enhance enterprise insurance applications. This role focuses on maintaining and optimising core systems across policy, underwriting, and claims platforms within a production-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications built on Oracle technologies
• Support core insurance systems including policy administration, underwriting, and claims
• Perform advanced SQL/PLSQL development and database optimisation
• Maintain and enhance Oracle Forms & Reports and reporting solutions
• Conduct performance tuning, batch processing, and job scheduling improvements
• Support application stability within a regulated insurance environment
• Collaborate with business users and IT teams on system enhancements and issue resolution

Key Requirements

• At least 10+ years in enterprise application development with strong hands-on Oracle PL/SQL expertise
• Experience working with Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c or above)
• Solid experience with Oracle Forms & Reports
• Background in Insurance or Reinsurance environments
• Experience supporting core policy, underwriting, or claims systems
• Familiarity with Java/J2EE, REST/SOAP services, Unix/Linux scripting, and version control tools advantageous
