APAC Marketing Events Manager
Location: Singapore (Hybrid)
Employment Type: 12-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)
Salary: Up to SGD 17,000/month

About the Role
- Our client, a fast-growing global technology company specialising in Artificial Intelligence (AI), is seeking an experienced APAC Marketing Events Manager to lead and execute strategic, large-scale marketing events across the Asia Pacific region.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise event marketing, with proven experience developing and executing large-scale events as a core part of their role. You will be responsible for aligning event programmes with account engagement strategies, brand objectives, and regional business goals.
- This role requires strong end-to-end event management experience, covering event strategy, planning, logistics, vendor management, contracts, budgets, staffing, timelines, execution, and post-event analysis.
- You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Account teams, regional leadership, and external partners to deliver high-impact events that drive lead generation, pipeline opportunities, attendee engagement, and brand awareness across APAC.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of large-scale enterprise events across APAC, from strategy and concept development through to post-event evaluation.
- Develop event programmes that align with marketing objectives, account engagement strategies, sales priorities, and overall brand positioning.
- Manage multiple concurrent events across different APAC markets, including: Large-scale conferences, Industry trade shows, Executive summits and roundtables , Customer and executive dinners, Product launches, Roadshows, Third-party sponsorships, Field marketing programmes
- Own all aspects of event logistics and execution, including venue sourcing, vendor selection, contracts, staffing plans, production, timelines, event materials, and on-site management.
- Manage relationships and negotiations with event agencies, vendors, venues, production partners, and external stakeholders across APAC.
- Develop and manage event budgets, contracts, purchase orders, and overall event spend.
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Account teams, and regional leadership to ensure events support pipeline generation and business growth.
- Develop engaging event content and programmes tailored to enterprise customers, prospects, executives, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee event staffing and resource planning to ensure smooth execution.
- Manage event timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and risks from planning through to completion.
- Implement effective lead capture and attendee engagement strategies before, during, and after events.
- Track and analyse key event KPIs, including: Lead generation, Pipeline contribution, Attendee engagement, Registration and attendance, Customer engagement, Event ROI
- Conduct post-event analysis and provide actionable recommendations to improve future event performance.
- Develop scalable event processes, playbooks, and best practices to improve operational efficiency across APAC.
- Ensure all events are delivered in accordance with corporate branding, compliance requirements, and local regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B event marketing, enterprise event management, or field marketing.
- Strong experience developing and executing large-scale enterprise events as a primary responsibility.
- Proven experience managing events across multiple APAC markets.
- Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of event logistics, including: Vendor management, Venue management, Contract negotiation, Budget management, Staffing plans, Event timelines, On-site execution, Post-event reporting
- Proven experience delivering large-scale conferences, trade shows, executive events, and enterprise customer programmes.
- Strong experience aligning event programmes with account engagement, sales objectives, marketing strategies, and brand initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to track and report event KPIs such as lead generation, pipeline contribution, attendee engagement, and ROI.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously across different markets.
- Experience working with senior executives, enterprise customers, Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and budget management skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic regional environment.
- Willingness to travel across APAC for event execution and stakeholder engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the technology, AI, SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software industry.
- Established vendor and agency network across key APAC markets.
- Experience supporting regional demand generation and account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives.
- Familiarity with event technology, registration platforms, CRM, marketing automation, and lead management tools.
- Experience working with enterprise technology customers and C-level executives.
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid working arrangement based in Singapore, with 2–3 days in the office per week.
- Approximately 30% regional travel across APAC for event execution, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Candidate Profile
We are specifically looking for someone who has made large-scale enterprise events a core part of their career—not someone who has only supported events occasionally. The successful candidate should demonstrate strong ownership across the full event lifecycle, from programme development and account engagement to vendor management, contracts, budgets, staffing, timelines, on-site execution, and post-event KPI measurement.
Experience in large-scale conferences, trade shows, executive events, and enterprise customer engagements is highly important for this role.
