What this job involves:

This role sits within JLL's APAC Research Data Operations team and plays a key part in ensuring the quality, consistency, and reliability of property market data across more than 20 Asia Pacific markets. You will support the data that underpins JLL's research, insights, and client deliverables, working closely with local market Research teams and internal stakeholders. The role offers strong exposure to large‑scale real estate datasets, regional market dynamics, and emerging AI and automation tools, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in data‑driven work and building a strong foundation in research operations.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Supporting Research teams across APAC with the timely submission and validation of market data

  • Reviewing datasets to identify missing information, inconsistencies, or unusual trends, and following up with teams to resolve issues

  • Assisting with the preparation and management of quarterly data cycles using agreed standards and processes

  • Maintaining and updating databases and systems used to store and deliver research data to clients and internal stakeholders

  • Monitoring key property market indicators and sense checking data against real estate fundamentals

  • Working with the APAC Data Operations Team Lead to test, adopt, and improve AI or automation tools that enhance data quality and efficiency

  • Documenting processes and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the data operations team

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a data operations management role, ideally within a commercial real estate agency or related industry

  • Prior experience in data analysis and/or database management or experience in data, research, analytics, or a related field

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline

  • Strong attention to detail and an interest in working with data intensive‑ processes

  • Ability to analyse information, identify issues, and apply logical problem solving

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, including working with structured datasets

  • Fluency in English with clear written and verbal communication skill to collaborate effectively with regional stakeholders and research teams across APAC.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment

  • Experience using Python for data cleaning, transformation, and automated reporting

  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and complex querying from large datasets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Databricks for large-scale data processing is preferred

  • Experience checking or validating data quality

  • Interest in automation, AI tools, or improving data processes

  • Direct passion and demonstrated ability to build skills and agents and comfort learning new systems quickly

  • Genuine enjoyment explaining technical concepts and confidence presenting to individuals and groups
