Senior Analyst, Regional Controllership (Digital Financial Services)

You will be part of Sea's HQ Finance department, which plays an integral role in supporting the accounting and finance needs of our three core businesses (Garena, Shopee, Monee) and across our diverse regional market presence. Within the department, the Regional Controllership function partners with both local and HQ finance teams to enhance the quality, consistency, and accuracy of financial processes and reporting across the Group, adapting to evolving business needs. You will play a key role in bridging HQ finance and respective country finance teams through leading and rolling out crucial projects and new developments for Digital Financial Services business.

Job Description:

• Collaborate with country finance teams to roll out crucial projects and new developments for Digital Financial Services business.

• Provide guidance to local finance team to ensure smooth month-end closing, accuracy of system data and any accounting related matters

• Liaise and direct the preparation of annual budget and periodic forecast exercises

• Manage crucial projects and other group level initiatives while managing stakeholders from diverse backgrounds

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, potential finance and tax risks and propose feasible solutions to the team

• Any other tasks and projects assigned

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance/ Accounting/ related discipline or other related professional qualification in accounting, such as Chartered Accountant and ACCA

• Minimum 4 years of relevant full-time working experience in Finance related roles

• Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm serving Financial Services clients is required

• Strong team player who thrives on excellence and continuous improvement

• Passionate in the finance space and loves to challenge the status quo

• Thrives in dynamic environments and is committed to delivering high-quality results

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage stakeholders from diverse backgrounds

• Strong logical and analytical thinking skills with attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Willing to travel to local market within LATAM for business trips
