Conduct pricing and market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the ride‑hailing marketplace.
Support the development and evaluation of pricing strategies, fares, promotions, and incentives through data-driven analysis.
Analyze demand patterns, rider and driver behavior, and price elasticity to assess the impact of pricing initiatives.
Monitor and evaluate competitor pricing actions and market dynamics, translating findings into actionable pricing recommendations.
Track pricing performance and conduct post‑implementation analyses to evaluate effectiveness and business impact.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. demand, supply, marketing, product) to gather inputs and align pricing decisions.
Prepare pricing insights, recommendations, and presentations for internal stakeholders and management.
Provide ad-hoc analytical support and contribute to special projects, including automation of recurring pricing analyses where appropriate.
Job Requirements
2-3 years of experience in data or business analytics, preferably within a two‑sided marketplace (e.g., ride‑hailing, food delivery, or other digital platform businesses).
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, analysis, and pricing model development.
Solid understanding of statistical analysis, and experimentation techniques (e.g., A/B testing)..
Prior experience with analytics automation is preferred.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to improve productivity in analysis and automation is highly preferred.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus: Experience working with real-time ML systems, even at a project or academic level.
