Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Singapore office supporting JLL's Asia Pacific Capital Markets business. You will drive financial planning, reporting, and providing critical insights that shape strategic business decisions. This role combines hands-on financial analysis with business partnership, offering direct exposure to senior stakeholders and diverse property assets across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare and own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses
- Support annual budgeting process and monthly rolling forecast
- Develop financial models to evaluate business scenarios and investment opportunities
- Consolidate inputs from various business units for planning cycles
Business Partnering
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to provide financial insights
- Translate financial data into actionable recommendations
- Participate in business reviews and present findings to stakeholders
- Support strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis
Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting deliverables
- Maintain financial databases and reporting systems
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Analysis & Insights
- Analyze financial trends and identify risks and opportunities
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business initiatives
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide commentary on results
- Communicate findings clearly to various stakeholders
- Benchmark performance against competitors and industry standards across APAC markets
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes
- Support implementation of new systems and tools
- Enhance financial analysis capabilities through methodology improvements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 3-5 years in financial analysis, corporate finance, or related roles
- Preferred: Prior experience in real estate, professional services, or multinational organizations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
- Experience with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and clear communication skills for presenting complex financial information
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with collaborative working style
- Professional certification or progress toward CPA, CFA, or ACCA
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Knowledge of Singapore financial regulations and tax environment
