Senior Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically driven Analyst with 4-6 years of experience, who possesses a strong foundation in data engineering. This role is ideal for individuals who have excelled in building and managing data pipelines and infrastructure but are now eager to apply their technical expertise to extract meaningful insights through analytics, tell compelling data stories, and directly influence business strategy. You will bridge the gap between raw data and actionable business intelligence, working closely with various departments to solve complex problems and identify opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Exploration & Analysis:

• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing actionable insights to business stakeholders across departments (e.g., Revenue, Marketing, Sales, Product, Operations).
• Translate complex business questions into analytical problems and design appropriate methodologies to answer them.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to present data clearly and effectively.

Business Partnership & Communication:

• Act as a key liaison between technical data teams and business units, understanding their needs and communicating analytical findings in a clear, concise, and impactful manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define KPIs, measure performance, and monitor the impact of business initiatives.
• Present analytical findings, recommendations, and data-driven narratives to management and cross-functional teams.

Data Quality & Governance:

• Leverage your data engineering background to understand data sources, identify data quality issues, and work with data engineers to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Proactively identify gaps in data collection or availability and propose solutions to enhance our data infrastructure for improved analytical capabilities.
• Contribute to the documentation of data definitions, metrics, and data lineage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a field.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in a data-focused role, with a significant portion in data engineering, ETL development, or data warehousing.
• Strong proficiency in SQL is essential, with experience writing complex queries, joins, and subqueries for data extraction and analysis.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering/analysis (e.g., Python, Scala, R).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from complex datasets.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical insights to non-technical audiences.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
