Airport Emergency Service is a specialised unit under Changi Airport Group, responsible for providing firefighting, rescue and emergency services at the airports in Singapore. As a Senior Airport Emergency Officer, you will help lead a world class aviation rescue and fire fighting unit. The role combines operational leadership, emergency response, safety planning and team development.
To set you up for success in the role, you will undergo a 3-week BAFF Fitness Programme (BFP) designed to build your physical fitness and operational readiness. This is followed by a comprehensive 3-month Basic Airport Fire Fighter (BAFF) training programme, where you will gain internationally recognized firefighting skills and aircraft emergency response capabilities aligned with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards. You will then attend a 1-month Airport Fire Officer course to develop leadership skills for small team tactics, followed by a 1-month Senior Airport Fire Officer course focused on incident management.
Upon successful completion, you will be deployed to an airport fire station where you can put your skills into practice, gain valuable frontline operational experience, and broaden your exposure through opportunities to work across different airport fire stations and military airbases. This diverse experience will help accelerate your professional growth and build a strong foundation for a rewarding career in airport emergency services.
