Senior AI Scientist - Systematic Trading

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered data products using machine learning, large language models (LLMs), and modern AI technologies.
• Develop, train, fine-tune, evaluate, and deploy AI/ML models using both proprietary and external datasets.
• Build end-to-end machine learning pipelines, including data preparation, feature engineering, model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Apply generative AI and LLM techniques to business use cases such as text summarization, classification, information extraction, semantic search, and workflow automation.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate complex business challenges into scalable AI solutions.
• Evaluate, integrate, and optimize third-party AI tools, APIs, open-source models, and internal AI solutions.
• Develop robust data pipelines and model workflows for both structured and unstructured data.
• Define model evaluation metrics, conduct experiments, perform error analysis, and continuously improve model performance.
• Support the production deployment of AI models, ensuring reliability, scalability, governance, and responsible AI practices.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a closely related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Proven publication record in leading machine learning or AI conferences.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar AI/ML-focused role.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and predictive modeling techniques.
• Prior experience in the financial services industry is advantageous but not required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and a passion for continuous learning.
• Strong attention to detail with a process-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
