About the Role

Working at the intersection of AI, governance, risk, and regulation, you will help establish Responsible AI standards, advise on AI risk mitigation, and ensure AI solutions are designed and deployed responsibly, ethically, and in compliance with regulatory expectations.

You'll collaborate closely with Technology, Data, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Business teams to embed Responsible AI principles throughout the AI lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Responsible AI policies, standards, guidelines, and governance frameworks.
  • Partner with project teams to embed AI-by-Design principles into AI and GenAI initiatives.
  • Conduct AI risk and impact assessments, covering areas such as fairness, bias, explainability, privacy, and model governance.
  • Design and implement controls and guardrails to mitigate risks including hallucinations, misuse, and unintended outcomes.
  • Act as a key liaison between business, technology, and risk functions on AI governance matters.
  • Drive Responsible AI awareness, education, and best practices across the organisation.
  • Monitor developments in AI technologies, emerging regulations, and industry standards to support the safe adoption of AI.

About You

  • 8–12 years of experience across AI/ML, data science, AI governance, model risk, technology risk, or related disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of the AI lifecycle, including LLMs, Generative AI, model validation, explainability, algorithmic bias, and AI risk management.
  • Experience developing or implementing AI governance frameworks, Responsible AI programmes, or model risk controls.
  • Working knowledge of AI regulatory frameworks and ethical AI principles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable working across cross-functional teams within a regulated environment.
  • Certifications in Responsible AI, AI Ethics, or AI Governance would be advantageous.

Why Consider This Opportunity

  • Join a newly established and highly visible Enterprise AI function.
  • Shape the Responsible AI strategy of a leading organisation.
  • Work on enterprise-scale AI and Generative AI initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across technology, business, risk, and innovation.
  • Be part of one of the fastest-growing areas within AI, governance, and emerging technology.
