About the Role
We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer who is not only technically strong but also deeply understands business needs. This role bridges the gap between product strategy and technical execution, ensuring that AI-powered solutions align closely with business goals. You will be responsible for designing, researching, and developing features while working closely with product managers, UI UX Teams and Algorithm Engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the production of scalable and optimised AI/machine learning (ML) models
- Focus on building algorithms for the extraction, transformation and loading of large volumes of real time, unstructured data to deploy AI/ML solutions from theoretical data science models.
- Create innovative AI solutions that enrich product experiences for existing products.
- Research and prototype new AI techniques to improve product functionality and user experience.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to implement AI models and systems.
- Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions.
- Provide technical insights to guide strategic decisions on AI product direction.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong programming skills in Java, C++ with at least 5 years of developer experience would be preferred.
- Proven people management and leadership experiences would be preferred.
- Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks is a plus.
- Native or professional working proficiency in both English and Mandarin would be required to communicate with Mandarin-speaking internal stakeholders in China
