The Chief System Assurance Officer (CSAO) organization is responsible for building a Global Sovereign System Assurance Framework to ensure Ant International's cross-border payment systems are Visible, Controllable, Verifiable, Auditable, and Sustainable (VCVAS).
About the Role
As a Senior AI & Cloud Assurance Engineer, you will build AI-powered capabilities that continuously monitor, validate, optimize, and assure Ant International's global cloud and infrastructure platforms.
Working at the intersection of AI, cloud infrastructure, reliability engineering, and security, you will develop intelligent agents and automation capabilities that strengthen cloud governance, infrastructure resilience, security enforcement, compliance, and large-scale operational assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI agents and autonomous workflows for cloud governance, infrastructure operations, and system assurance.
- Build AI-native capabilities for continuous infrastructure monitoring, anomaly detection, resilience validation, and automated remediation.
- Develop intelligent capabilities to evaluate cloud architectures against sovereign design principles, security requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Build AI-driven solutions for infrastructure compliance, Security-by-Design, and operational readiness.
- Generate continuous evidence of cloud resilience, security posture, compliance, and operational assurance.
- Partner with Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, Security Engineering, SRE, Architecture, and CSAO teams to embed AI-powered assurance into infrastructure operations.
- Contribute to the AI-native System Assurance Platform and the evolution of intelligent assurance operating models.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, AI engineering, SRE, DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering.
- Experience building AI agents, LLM applications, or intelligent automation for cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or operations.
- Hands-on experience with AI agent frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI Agents SDK, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of RAG, Model Context Protocol (MCP), multi-agent systems, and AI security.
- Experience designing and operating cloud-native, multi-region, distributed, or sovereign cloud architectures.
- Strong knowledge of cloud reliability, observability, security automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and Policy-as-Code.
- Experience with mission-critical distributed systems, scalability, resilience, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Python or Go, CI/CD, and observability tools.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust, Secure-by-Design, and Sovereign Cloud principles.
- Experience in financial services, payments, or other highly regulated and high-availability environments is preferred.
- Strong ownership mindset, with excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance technical scalability, operational resilience, security, and regulatory requirements.
