Job Description

  • Faculty Talent HR Coordination:

    • Act as the primary Faculty Talent HR contact for faculty, providing guidance and support on Faculty HR-related matters.

    • Coordinate faculty recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screenings, interviews, and selection processes.

    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new faculty members, ensuring a smooth transition into the institution.

  • Administrative Support:

    • Provide various forms of administrative support to the Faculty Talent HR team, including managing SSG registration, item collection, and attending to welfare matters (e.g., car park, lounge)

    • Organize and support faculty-related events, such as Faculty Appreciation Events.

    • Liaise with vendors on certificate printing, gifts sourcing, and lecturer staff cards.

  • Employee Relations:

    • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for faculty.

    • Address and resolve faculty concerns and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.

    • Ensure compliance with institutional policies and employment laws.

  • Faculty Talent HR Policies and Compliance:

    • Communicate and enforce Faculty Talent HR policies and procedures to faculty.

    • Ensure faculty adherence to institutional policies and legal requirements.

    • Stay informed about changes in HR laws and regulations and update practices accordingly.

  • HRIS System Support:

    • Support the Manager in HRIS-related system support, including tracking system enhancement requests and setting up role-based profiles.

    • Liaise with QA, HR, Higher Education (HE), and IT on security access and organization configuration.

    • Attend to user (lecturers and HE program teams) issues on Workday business process transactions.

    • Maintain HRIS data.

  • Faculty Talent HR Data Management:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Faculty Talent HR records for faculty.

    • Prepare Faculty Talent HR reports and analytics to support decision-making and strategic planning.

  • Support Academic Term Scheduling:

    • Participate in biannual scheduling and resource planning for lecturer availability checks.

    • Consolidate teaching slot requests for Higher Education and Resource Management and Support Services departments.

  • Additional Faculty Talent HR Operations Support:

    • Provide any other necessary support for Faculty Talent HR operations as required.

Job Requirements:

. Diploma holder or equivalent

. Preferably to have 2 years Faculty HR generalist experience
