Job Summary:
This role involves helping the predictive analytics team develop and apply predictive analytics tools and models and communicate findings to stakeholders. It also involves providing support to colleagues who are using predictive analytics tools.
Job Duties:
Under moderate supervision:
• Develop and apply predictive analytics tools and models
• Communicate findings from analytical work to stakeholders
• Provide support to colleagues who are using predictive analytics tools
• Any other duties assigned by the manager
Essential Requirements:
· University degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related field
· Three or more years of relevant actuarial experience in property and casualty insurance or reinsurance or in the field of predictive analytics
· Qualified or part-qualified General Insurance (non-life) actuary
· Strong interest in programming
· Proficiency in coding languages such as SAS, R or Python for predictive analytics
· Experienced in applying predictive analytics and/or machine learning techniques
· Ability to learn quickly
· Strong analytical and communication skills
· Strong ethics and integrity
