We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior / Accounts Executive to join our Finance Team.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Accounting Operations
- Perform journal entries, general ledger postings, and reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Maintain proper documentation for all accounting entries.
Reporting & Compliance
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support statutory audit processes and liaise with auditors when required.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with finance team members on consolidation, reporting, and analysis.
- Partner with operations team to reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and support business needs.
- Assist with process improvements and implementation of accounting best practices.
System & Process Management
- Manage accounting tasks using QuickBooks.
- Support system updates, data entry accuracy, and troubleshoot issues when needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and efficiency.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a commercial setting.
- Hands-on experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and documentation.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to be hands-on with day-to-day accounting work.
