Job Description
1. Accounting & Financial Operations
Maintain a few full sets of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L statements, and balance sheets
Ensure accurate posting of revenue, expenses, accruals, and provisions
Monitor outlet-level financial performance and cost controls
Process supplier invoices, staff claims, and payments in a timely manner
Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
Maintain proper documentation and filing for audit purposes
2. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance
GST submission, IRAS filings, and statutory reporting
Prepare audit schedules and support year-end audits
Liaise with corporate secretaries on ACRA-related matters
Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards and internal controls
3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting
Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises
Track variances between budget and actual results and provide explanations
Support cash flow monitoring and planning
Job Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, or professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA Singapore)
Ability to maintain meticulous documentation and filing systems
Proficient in Microsoft 365
Able to handle full sets of accounts
Minimum 5 - 6 years of accounting experience
