Primary Purpose and Function
This Senior Accounts Exec will support the operational requirement of the Company by managing finance processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. This role required a proactive individual with attention to details and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly / year end closings, financial reports and financial update in HQ system
- Prepare monthly account schedules and HQ reporting
- Prepare bank reconciliation reports & reconciliation of monthly intercompany balances Prepare quarterly GST returns and ensure compliance with reporting requirements. Maintain the Fixed Register. Assist monthly stockable cycle count.
- Support external auditor in year-end audit and tax agent for corporate tax submission.
- Prepare year end statutory report and tax computation. Assist in process improvement and system implementation.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Competency Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Accounting or other professional accounting certificates or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in doing full set of accounts.
- Proficient in Excel (V/X lookup, Pivot table etc).
- Knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS) and GST regulations.
- Detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Technical Skills / Knowledge
- Well versed in MS Office, MS Excel and Words.
- 4 years accounting experience in handling full set of account.
- Positive working attitudes, meticulous and efficiency.
Qualification
- Degree / diploma in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in handling AP function.
