Job Summary
You will manage financial closing, audit support, inventory costing, and supplier payments while guiding junior staff on GST and reporting to ensure accurate accounting and timely financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly and annual financial closing activities to ensure accurate financial records and support the annual audit process
- Prepare journal entries and conduct general ledger reconciliations to maintain accurate accounting data
- Manage monthly inventory closing and costing activities to reflect true stock values
- Prepare and review stock provisions and post corresponding journal entries to ensure correct financial reporting
- Plan and coordinate annual stocktaking with internal departments to verify inventory accuracy
- Verify and process supplier invoices and payments promptly to maintain vendor relationships and cash flow
- Provide guidance to junior staff on GST matters and survey reporting to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Maintain accurate accounting records and submit financial reports within deadlines
- Execute other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree or higher qualification in Finance or Accountancy
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
