Job Summary
You will oversee the full set of accounts (AR, AP & GL) ensuring accurate financial analysis, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and compliance with financial reporting standards. You will prepare and submit comprehensive month-end financial reports to senior leadership and coordinate audit processes to uphold financial integrity.
Responsibilities
- Manage full set of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger to maintain accurate financial records and support business operations
- Prepare month-end closing reports including balance sheets, income statements, management reports, and cash flow statements for submission to the Managing Director
- Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting to support strategic decision-making and business growth
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments, including preparation and reconciliation of Statements of Account
- Maintain audit schedules and coordinate with auditors to facilitate year-end audit processes and ensure compliance
- Liaise with the company secretary and tax agent to address company matters and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and submit GST quarterly returns in compliance with statutory obligations
- Identify and report any non-conformance to work policies, recommending corrective actions to uphold financial and operational standards
- Vigilantly detect and report any suspicious or undesirable transactions to the Head of Department to safeguard company assets
- Perform additional ad hoc duties as assigned to support the finance function and organizational objectives
Required Competencies and Certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience managing full set of accounts
- Proficient in MS Excel and Word to produce accurate financial reports and analyses
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail and meet tight deadlines
- High ethical standards with discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
