Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to oversee the company's accounting and finance functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting audit and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Match and verify vendors invoices against Delivery Orders (DO) and Purchase Orders (PO).
- Process and post supplier invoices, expenses, and receipts accurately and timely.
- Create and maintain vendor master records.
- Prepare financial reports and accounting statements for subsidiaries.
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns.
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet schedules and reconciliations.
- Compile and post daily sales reports.
- Monitor and verify petty cash claims and reimbursements.
- Prepare month-end closing reports, including Profit & Loss statements.
- Assist in year-end audit exercises and liaise with external auditors.
- Support the digitalisation and improvement of invoice workflow processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Perform any other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience in handling full set of accounts is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems will be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
