Responsibilities
1.Maintain full sets of books, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)
2.Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including bank reconciliations and journal entries
3.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, such as P&L (Profit& Loss) and Balance Sheets
4.Prepare and submit GST returns to tax authorities (e.g., IRAS) and ensure compliance with tax regulations Maintain proper internal controls and risk management practices
5.Liaise with internal/external auditors, prepare audit schedules ensure compliance with accounting standards
6.Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting
7.Manage Banking relationships, including coordination with bankers on financial facilities d transactions
Monitors Trade Finance (TF) status to ensure compliance and timely updates
8.Provide guidance and supervision to the finance team
-Coordinate cross-departmental support to ensure efficiency in operations
-Report directly to senior management on financial health, risks and opportunities
9.Supervisor and manage the organization's general administration functions including
-IT systems and infrastructure
-Office equipment and supplies
-Office lease agreement and renewals
10.Any other ad hoc requests by the management
Requirement
-Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
-Minimum 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience, often including full-set accounting.
-Proficiency in Accounting software and Microsoft Excel, deep knowledge of GST, tax, and auditing
-Team Lead with good communication and interpersonal skills
