Job Summary
Lead the Finance team to deliver accurate financial reporting and compliance, driving strategic financial management and operational efficiency for the company.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Finance team to ensure effective financial operations and team performance
- Review and submit quarterly GST submissions to maintain regulatory compliance
- Review and submit monthly Payroll to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation
- Prepare monthly consolidation and variance analysis to provide insights into company accounts
- Review and ensure timely submission of month-end closing reports with properly reconciled balances
- Prepare full sets of accounts to present a comprehensive financial position of the company
- Review monthly management reports to ensure alignment with accounting policies and support decision-making
- Review, implement, and recommend improvements to financial and accounting policies and procedures
- Prepare management reports for Directors to inform strategic planning and governance
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents, and professional advisors to ensure statutory compliance
- Assist in managing and maintaining robust internal control processes to safeguard company assets
- Manage cash flow and assist in preparing cash flow projections to support financial planning
- Prepare operational budgets and financial forecasts to guide business growth and resource allocation
- Support any other ad-hoc assignments to meet evolving business needs
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent (as stated: Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in finance or accounting (as stated: At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.)
