Duties:
1. Financial Close & Accounting
- Manage full set of accounts, including month-end and year-end closing
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and balance sheet schedules
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Analyse financial performance and provide variance explanations
2. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/local GAAP)
- Prepare management and statutory financial statements
- Liaise with auditors and tax agents for audit and tax matters
- Support GST, corporate tax, and regulatory filings
3. Business Support & Process Improvement
- Partner with internal teams on budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Support new initiatives and cross-functional projects
Requirement:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience (full set / month-end closing)
- Professional qualification (CPA/ACCA/CA) is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and compliance
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
