Independently manage and execute month-end and year-end closing for assigned entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, deferrals, and balance sheet schedules.
Own the general ledger and ensure compliance with group policies and local statutory requirements.
Partner with business and operational teams to understand key drivers of financial performance and provide insights into variances and trends.
Analyze revenue and expense accounts, providing variance analysis with clear and insightful explanations.
Continuously improve close and reporting processes through automation and system enhancements.
Ensure full compliance with IFRS or local accounting standards, maintaining high-quality documentation and strong internal controls.
Prepare and review management and statutory financial statements.
Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors during annual audits, ensuring timely and efficient completion of audit deliverables.
Support preparation of corporate income tax, VAT/GST, and other statutory filings, coordinating with external service providers where required.
Act as a finance partner to business units, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
Evaluate, design, and implement process improvements using technology tools such as NetSuite, Excel, and automation platforms.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, HR, and Strategy teams to support new initiatives and entity structuring.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) is preferred.
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, including hands-on responsibility for entity-level financial close.
Prior experience in audit is advantageous.
Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems is a plus.
Exposure to fintech, technology, or multi-entity international operations is beneficial.
Strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to translate accounting outcomes into business insights.
Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Budget: $5,500 - $6,000
Working hours: 9am to 6pm
