Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely management reporting for month-end closing. Prepare annual budgets, revised budgets, and cash flow analyses. Liaise with banks, external auditors, and tax agents as necessary. Prepare annual financial reports in compliance with financial reporting standards. Prepare GST and tax computations. Perform financial analysis focusing on fluctuations in profit and loss statements and balance sheets. Monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with governance requirements. Continuously review and improve work processes and internal controls. Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities effectively. Manage accounts staff and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA). Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience. Strong analytical abilities and independence. Proactive, resourceful, and results-driven with good team player qualities. Comfort in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. People-management capabilities preferred. Prior experience in an auditing firm is advantageous.
