Job Description

Brief Summary:

Join a dynamic team responsible for managing comprehensive accounting and tax compliance for our Singapore entities. This role offers the opportunity to engage in international tax planning and analytics while contributing to key financial processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee bookkeeping for Singapore local entities and review business transaction documentation for accuracy.
  • Manage coordination of external audit affairs.
  • Develop and maintain tax systems for Singapore entities, including Corporate Income Tax and GST compliance with IRAS.
  • Conduct regular health checks on tax compliance and establish risk mitigation mechanisms.
  • Handle intercompany service agreements and oversee transfer pricing documentation and profitability reviews.
  • Lead responses to tax audits and formulate strategies for compliance.
  • Support international tax policy research and monitor updates relevant to Singapore and cross-border tax issues.
  • Assist in international tax structuring and business model assessments while ensuring effective communication with tax authorities.
  • Carry out routine tax statistical analysis and prepare analytical reports.
  • Collaborate with Group Treasury on bank account management and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide accounting support for overseas projects as necessary and participate in short-term assignments.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by Group Finance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Tax, or Finance from a recognized university; CA (Singapore) or CPA Australia preferred.
  • Approximately 10 years of experience in full accounting, tax filing, and handling IRAS audits.
  • In-depth knowledge of Singapore tax regulations and SFRS.
  • Proficient in ERP systems; experience with funding/investment is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to perform under pressure, and a collaborative team player.
  • Willingness to undertake short-term international travel as needed.
