Senior Accountant

Role:

. To be responsible for the integration of new business units to an ever expanding agricultural and food distribution business and to facilitate periodic reporting to relevant stakeholders.

Working Hours:

. 0830 to 1800 hours - Five-day week

1.Key responsibility areas

. Integrate business and accounting processes of and establish reporting procedures for newly acquired business units.

. Implement and operate a computerised accounting and management control system for newly acquired business units

. Responsible for setting up full spectrum of financial and accounting functions, including processes and procedures for periodic and GST reporting

. Review of financial and operational performance of business units

. Ad-hoc projects and other job duties which may be assigned from time to time

2.Requirements

Qualifications:

. Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent

Experience:

. Minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience, in establishing new processes and reports to achieve control and reporting requirements

. Relevant experience in food distribution and trading business would be ideal

. Knowledge in Navision is preferred

. Self-starter and ability to work as a member of a team

. Conscientious and organized and be able to cope with disorganized and small entities processes during the transition periods to integrate.
