Morgan McKinley is partnering with a client to hire a Senior Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is a key role supporting complex accounting activities with strong exposure to financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and business partnering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing general ledger integrity and ensuring clean, well-controlled financial records
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for investment activities
- Driving accurate and timely financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual) in line with IFRS
- Managing investment accounting, including valuation, income recognition, and performance tracking
- Reviewing and reconciling complex transactions across securities, derivatives, and alternative investments
- Ensuring adherence to MAS regulations and financial reporting standards
- Partnering with auditors and managing end-to-end audit processes
- Enhancing internal controls, processes, and data accuracy
- Providing actionable financial insights to support business and investment decisions
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Professional certification such as CPA / ACCA / CFA is advantageous
- Hands-on experience with systems such as SAP / Oracle / Bloomberg
- Advanced Excel skills with ability to handle and interpret large datasets
- A detail-oriented and analytical mindset with strong ownership
