Job Description:
- Responsible of the full spectrum of financial and accounting functions.
- Oversee daily operations of the Accounting and Finance department.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
- Analyze actual financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior year.
- Coordinate annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes.
- Plan and manage cash flow to support business operations.
- Handle GST submission, withholding tax, statutory audit, corporate tax return, and transfer pricing.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, IRAS regulations, and Group policies.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for business decisions.
- Strengthen internal controls and risk management processes.
- Participate in internal audits conducted by J-SOX team and support compliance initiatives.
- Liaise with tax agents, auditors, corporate secretaries, and bankers.
- Supervise, coach, and develop junior finance team members.
- Participate in and support enhancement of business processes and systems.
- Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong understanding of Singapore statutory reporting and tax requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, financial modeling) and PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage).
- Good to have: Exposure to J-SOX and internal control frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work across departments and cultures.
- Proactive, independent, and with high integrity.
- Hands-on, self-motivated team player with leadership potential.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Compensation:
- Work location: Central, Singapore
- Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:45pm
- WFH: Once a week
