Our client is seeking a hands-on and analytical Senior Accountant to manage the full set of Singapore accounts while supporting overseas subsidiaries. This role plays a critical part in financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, system implementation (D365), and partnering with operational leaders to drive performance.

Our client is a well-established international ship management company with a strong global presence. They are expanding their finance capabilities in Singapore and are looking for a capable Senior Accountant to join their team.
This is a hands-on Senior Accountant role responsible for managing the full set of Singapore accounts while supporting overseas subsidiaries. You will play a key role in financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, ERP enhancement (D365), and partnering closely with business leaders to drive performance and financial discipline.
Description
Financial Accounting & Reporting
Manage full set of accounts including GL, AR, AP and balance sheet reconciliations
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing
Support group consolidation process
Prepare management reports and statutory financial statements
Maintain strong internal controls and documentationCash Management
Prepare daily cash flow reports and forecasts
Oversee payment processing and optimize working capital
Ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needsAudit & Tax Compliance
Liaise with external auditors for statutory audits
Coordinate corporate tax filings and GST submissions
Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirementsBudgeting & Forecasting
Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises
Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights
Provide recommendations to improve financial performanceBusiness Partnering
Partner with General Managers across Singapore and overseas entities
Support revenue, cost, and profitability forecasting
Drive financial accountability across business unitsBusiness Transformation
Participate in Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation and enhancement projects
Support UAT, data migration, and process improvements
Assist in SOP development and user training
Profile
- Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including experience handling a full set of accounts
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365) would be advantageous
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial information clearly
- Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate with regional stakeholders at various levels
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
