Job Description:
- Oversee the entire range of financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and managing cash flow
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end and year-end financial closings
- Compile and deliver financial reports and analyses to senior leadership and Group Finance to support strategic planning
- Manage internal and external audit processes, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal control policies
- Lead and support the finance team in executing day-to-day financial operations
- Supervise the preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports, as well as annual financial statements, in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International)
- Establish and enforce financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and protect company resources
- Track and evaluate the hotel's financial KPIs, identify patterns, and propose actionable improvements
- Work closely with other departments to ensure financial plans are aligned with the organization's strategic goals
- Maintain communication with external parties including banks, auditors, and tax authorities
- Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with brand standards
- Uphold corporate governance practices and provide ad-hoc financial insights and reports as requested by management
- Carry out additional tasks or responsibilities as delegated by senior leadership
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a financial management role
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
