We are hiring a Senior Accountant to join a Financial Services multinational organisation.
The role is responsible for supporting full-spectrum accounting activities across assigned entities, with exposure to regional reporting, audit, and regulatory requirements within a controlled and governance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities for assigned entities, including full ownership of Accounts Payable processes
- Perform monthly closing activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of financial results
- Support year-end closing processes, including preparation of statutory financial statements and tax filings
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal controls, and internal governance policies
- Support regulatory reporting requirements and coordinate with auditors and tax authorities to meet deadlines
- Prepare financial and management reports to support business and regulatory reporting needs
- Assist in responding to audit queries from internal and external auditors
- Support tax-related activities, including tax compliance and coordination with external advisors
- Assist in evaluating financing and treasury-related analysis when required
- Participate in finance improvement initiatives and ad-hoc projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal controls
- Experience in Financial Services or regulated industries is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven and structured environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across levels
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Willingness to travel regionally when required
