They are currently expanding their finance team with an additional headcount, looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant with a background in external audit to join our growing finance team.
About The Job
Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing complex financial reporting, including the consolidation of fully owned subsidiaries, joint ventures (JVs), associates, and non-controlling interests. You will utilize your expertise in FRS to ensure accurate and compliant financial statements, while also handling management reporting to provide key financial insights. Additionally, you will coordinate with external auditors, support the audit process, and identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function. Your role will be integral in supporting the company's growth and ensuring effective financial operations.
Skills And Experience Required
- Degree holder in Finance, accounting, or relevant disciplines
- Relevant experience in accounting, preferably with prior external audit.
- Strong understanding of FRS technicalities and financial reporting, including expertise in handling complex consolidation
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical skills, able to handle complex financial data and provide insights.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with senior management, auditors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
