Senior Accountant / Assistant Finance Manager

The Company
Our client is a fast-growing player in the engineering technology services industry. As part of their expansion plans, they are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Assistant Finance Manager to join their team.

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Finance Director, you will partner closely with the General Manager to provide financial support on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of finance and accounting activities for Singapore and Malaysia, including:

• Overseeing financial accounting and statutory reporting
• Preparing management reports and analysis for decision-making
• Driving budgeting and forecasting processes
• Managing cash flow and working capital
• Ensuring compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements
• Supporting audits and liaising with external auditors
• Implementing process improvements and supporting system enhancements

Your Profile

As the successful candidate, you will possess the following relevant skills sets and experience:

• CA/CPA/CIMA qualification and a degree in Accounting or Finance
• External audit exposure with a Big 4 or mid-tier audit firm
• Proven track record in handling a full spectrum of finance and accounting within an inventory based environment
• Strong exposure to financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Ability to be hands-on, proactive, diligent, and work independently
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders
