Job Description

We are partnering with a leading data centre in their search for a Senior Account Manager/Director to be responsible for building, strengthening, and expanding strategic relationships with key customers that have an existing or growing global footprint. This role focuses on engaging hyperscale clients and positioning our client as a preferred data centre partner across multiple regions.

Leveraging strong industry networks and relationship management capabilities, the ideal candidate will develop trusted partnerships across customer organizations to support and influence the sales process. This role will drive business growth through the acquisition of new opportunities, expansion of existing accounts, and successful closure of complex commercial deals & require someone who has a strong sense of urgency, commercial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop opportunities to support customers regional and global expansion plans across multiple markets
  • Drive strategic account planning initiatives to align with client growth objectives
  • Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets
  • Lead negotiations for new and renewal contracts with support from internal platform and operational teams
  • Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting to management for strategic planning purposes
  • Manage commercial negotiations with a strong focus on profitability optimization and risk management
  • Travel internationally when required to support business objectives and customer engagement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 7 years of experience within Sales, Commercial, or Account Management functions
  • Experience within hyperscale or wholesale data centre environments will be highly advantageous
  • Existing relationships with international hyperscale customers are preferred
  • Proven track record in negotiating and closing high-value, technically complex deals
  • Strong understanding of the data centre industry, investment landscape, and customer deployment requirements
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior executives and C-level decision makers
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and regional teams
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel as required for business needs
