Senior Account Executive - APJ

Join a global leader in fraud and risk intelligence technology as a Senior Account Executive – APJ, where you'll take ownership of some of the region's most exciting enterprise opportunities. With all inbound leads routed directly to you, this is a rare chance to drive high-value deals across banking and payments in one of the most commercially active markets. This role will focus exclusively on net-new logos across APJ.

This is a pure new business role with real velocity. Backed by a top-tier PE firm, led by a hands-on regional VP, and supported by a world-class product stack, this is a setup for someone who wants to close large, complex enterprise deals and earn well while doing it

About the Role:

As Senior Account Executive, you'll focus exclusively on net-new acquisition across the APJ region - working inbound enterprise leads, strategic outbound targets, and high-quality displacement opportunities. You'll partner closely with marketing, presales, and exec leadership to win high-stakes deals, helping Tier 1 and 2 banks modernise their approach to fraud, risk, and authentication

You'll be supported by an experienced, commercial VP who leads from the front and understands what it takes to win in this market

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and close net-new enterprise deals across the APJ region
  • Work inbound leads from Tier 1 and 2 banks, payment providers, and PSPs
  • Run structured sales cycles across fraud, risk, and authentication platforms
  • Identify and lead displacement opportunities against legacy vendors
  • Collaborate with sales engineering, leadership, and product teams
  • Represent the brand in RFPs, industry forums, and executive-level pitches
  • Deliver predictable pipeline build and accurate revenue forecasting

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 6-10 years of enterprise software sales experience, including both account management and net-new acquisition
  • Demonstrated success selling fraud prevention, authentication, or financial crime solutions into financial institutions across APJ or Australia - this is essential
  • Strong understanding of behavioural biometrics, 3DS, step-up authentication, and other modern fraud technologies
  • Track record of closing complex, high-value enterprise deals with Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks, issuers, and PSPs
  • Skilled in value-based selling, territory planning, pipeline development, and full-cycle execution
  • Deep familiarity with the fraud landscape across APJ, including regulatory pressures, threat evolution, and market dynamics
  • Strong executive presence - able to engage and influence senior stakeholders across banking and payments
  • Commercially driven, self-motivated, and structured in follow-through and forecasting
  • Willingness to travel regionally (up to 50%) as required for strategic engagements
