Semiconductor Software Test Engineer (Automation, Data Analytics & AI)

Role Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Engineer to develop automation, data analytics, and AI-powered solutions for Semiconductor Test Development workflows. The ideal candidate has strong Python programming skills, a solid understanding of Semiconductor Test Automation, and a passion for applying AI and data analytics to solve engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Python-based automation tools, applications, dashboards, and data workflows.
• Test and validate software tools to ensure reliability, accuracy, and maintainability.
• Analyze engineering data, logs, and test results to identify trends, insights, and workflow improvements.
• Develop AI-powered solutions, including LLM applications, AI agents, and knowledge assistants.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to gather requirements, develop prototypes, and document solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline,with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python. Experience with C/ C++/ Scripting / SystemVerilog/ Verilog/ VHDL advantages.
• Experience in automation, software development, testing, data processing, and tool development.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, including LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Exposure to semiconductor test, silicon validation, bench validation, scan, MBIST, functional test, FPGA/ASIC, ATE, or hardware debugging advantages.
• Experience developing AI applications, chatbots, automation tools, or productivity solutions is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Streamlit, Plotly, Dash, SQL, APIs,or data pipelines is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
