Semicon QA Director

Overview
Lead end-to-end Quality Assurance functions, including Reliability/NPI,In-Process QA, QA Systems, Supplier Quality, Process Control, and CustomerQuality. Ensure products and services meet all requirements while drivingstrong quality standards and customer confidence.

KeyResponsibilities

• Establish quality and reliability standards aligned with product and customer requirements
• Define material, in-process, and finished product quality standards and testing methods
• Ensure compliance with QA systems, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) and support engineering and manufacturing for smooth ramp-up
• Monitor quality performance, analyze trends, and implement corrective/preventive actions
• Lead QA operations, including team management, hiring and development
• Manage QA budget and resources effectively
• Act as the Voice of the Customer and Voice of the Plant

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or Material Physics
• 10+ years in semiconductor backend operations (Packaging, Test, Wafer Sort, Wafer Bumping), including 5+ years in leadership
• Experience in global/multicultural environments preferred
• Knowledge of quality tools (8D, FMEA, statistical tools like JMP)
• Familiarity with ISO9000, TS16949, ISO14001, OHSAS18001, and regulatory standards (RoHS, REACH, etc.)
