Security Project Specialist

About the Role

TEKsystems is seeking a technically inclinedSecurity Project Specialist/Engineerto join our Global Security Technology Team at a global tech company. This is an excellent opportunity forrecent graduateswith anIT background and exposure to physical security systemsto gain hands-on experience supporting large-scale global infrastructure programs at one of the world's leading tech companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Run system checks and validationson completed security system projects (e.g., configuration, system naming).
• Use internal tools to detecterrors and inconsistencies; triage and either:
• Resolve directly
• Or escalate/root cause with senior engineers
• Supportsystem upgrades and new builds, includingvalidation and reporting.
• Reviewfailure reportsand follow structured processes to validate issues and contribute to resolution.
• Assist withcommissioning and ongoing system supportfor access control and video management systems.
• Participate in QA checks and documentation through theTechnology Operations Center.
• Collaborate with engineers across global programs to supportdesign, deployment, maintenance, and tool-building initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Recent graduatewith an academic background inInformation Technology or a related field
• Exposure tophysical security technologiessuch asaccess control systemsorvideo management systems
• Interest in thetechnical support
• Detail-oriented and capable of running structuredsystem checks and validations
• Familiarity withproject-based workor system commissioning preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn in a complex, enterprise-scale environment
