Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and promptly report any suspicious activities or security breaches.
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets.
Perform guarding duties by maintaining a visible security presence and preventing unauthorized activities.
Manage access and egress control by verifying the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees, and ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, alarms, and accidents in accordance with company procedures.
Record and report all incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in security logs and reports.
Assist in emergency evacuations and coordinate with emergency services when required.
Enforce company security policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or suspicious behavior to the supervisor immediately.
Perform any other security-related duties as assigned by the Security Supervisor or Management.
Requirements
Minimum Secondary School education or equivalent.
Possess a valid Security Officer license issued by the Police Licensing & Regulatory Department (PLRD) and relevant WSQ security certifications (preferred).
Prior experience in security, guarding, or related field is an advantage.
Able to operate CCTV monitoring systems and prepare basic incident reports.
Good observation skills with the ability to remain alert and respond calmly during emergencies.
Basic computer literacy for report writing and CCTV monitoring.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to perform rotating shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and night shifts.
Physically fit and able to conduct prolonged patrols.
Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
