Job Description

THE JOB

The Security Manager reports to the Securitas Branch Manager and has a dotted line to the Global Director (customer). This role involves direct management and operational responsibility, and ensuring customer and company satisfaction.

Oversee all day-to-day aspects of operations of site, including all people & performance, and administrative issues. Create an enabling, positive environment where individuals take responsibility in carrying out their duties and work together as a team on-site to deliver them. Sets clear protocols, objectives, and leads by example.

Job Responsibilities

Managing all administrative duties, overseeing officers on ground, ensuring efficient operation on a day-to-day basis, including:

  • Ensure all documents, reports, records etc., are properly categorized and filled in orderly manner, sieve through all reports and ensure that proper follow-up actions are taken and escalate when necessary.
  • Ensure the Badging & Access programming are in accordance with global policies & procedures.
  • Prepare & Review SOP & Risk Assessment periodically.
  • Send out Security Awareness & conduct trainings (such as refresher training & orientation for any new officers) on site.
  • Ensure all incidents/issues are accurately, timely reported and escalated to global team and relevant parties.
  • Partner with Legal, HR, and Facility on security matters by supervising and supporting security deployment and activities.
  • Ensure regular checks are conducted on all systems and equipment including walkie-talkie, loud hailer, torch light, CCTV etc. Liaise with security vendors for maintenance and repair work.
  • Manning Security Operations Center, ensuring supervisors & ground officers comply with SOP/Assignment Instructions & Client requirements.
  • Attend fire safety meeting as a committee member, ensure that all officers are fully aware of their roles and responsibilities and procedures during emergencies.
  • To maintain inventories on all Security system and equipment & update the report on monthly basis.
  • To conduct audits as required by site, on monthly, quarterly & yearly basis.

Job Requirements

  • Must hold a valid PRD Grade of Security Supervisor (SS) rank.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a manager in the security, loss prevention, or related roles.
  • Equipped with computer skills (Microsoft applications, etc.)
  • Experience in dealing with information and intelligence, interpreting security threats and risks, and managing investigations.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are critical, as well as the ability to think clearly, analyze semi-quantitatively, problem-solve, and scope.
  • Ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the enterprise.
  • Independent, well-organized, and good work attitude
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Flexibility in relation to the working hours (days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays)
  • Have to undergo background checks and security screening.
