Security Engineering Lead

Exciting opportunity to join a financial institution as a Security Engineering lead in Singapore.

This role is based in Singapore, kindly note that only candidates currently working in Singapore will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of security engineering controls aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry frameworks (e.g. NIST, CRI).

• Drive regional security engineering initiatives, including vendor management, stakeholder engagement, delivery oversight, and remediation of identified security risks.

• Establish and govern security engineering standards, processes, and documentation, ensuring consistent, high-quality security outcomes across the organisation.

• Oversee security incident investigations, vulnerability remediation, and audit engagements, clearly communicating risks and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or security engineering roles.

• Strong hands-on expertise across multiple security engineering domains, such as IAM, Zero Trust, cryptographic key management, data protection, and cloud security.

• Proven experience implementing and operating enterprise security tools (e.g. FireMon, Illumio, Pentera, CyberArk or equivalents) and aligning controls to recognised frameworks.
