Introduction

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Data Security Engineer to strengthen our global data protection and compliance efforts. This role focuses on leading international certifications, deploying enterprise DLP solutions, conducting security audits, classifying and protecting sensitive data, and managing cross-border employee violation cases in a multinational environment. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of technical security operations and compliance experience in global organisations.

In this Role, you'll get to

• Lead ISO 27001/27701, DPTM, CBPR or related certification/audit processes, including gap analysis, remediation, evidence preparation and ongoing maintenance.
• Conduct regular internal security audits and risk assessments in an international context, identify gaps and drive technical remediation.
• Design and implement global data classification & grading frameworks, sensitive data discovery, labelling and protection controls.
• Deploy, configure, tune and operate Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions across endpoints, cloud, email, network and collaboration channels to prevent data leakage.
• Investigate and manage employee security/privacy violations across regions, coordinate with HR/legal, enforce disciplinary actions in compliance with local laws.
• Develop and deliver targeted security & privacy awareness training for global teams.

What you'll Need to Succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data security, preferably in multinational or global environments.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 / ISO 27701 frameworks, Singapore's PDPA / DPTM requirements, or similar privacy & information security standards.
• Practical experience with enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
• Ability to travel internationally as business needs arise.
