Contract Type
This role is offered as a 1-year contract, with the opportunity for conversion to a permanent position
based on performance and company needs.
Working Type
- 5.5 days per week
- Working Time : From 8:00 till 18:00 PM on weekdays
From 8:00 till 12:00 PM on Saturday.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Security Coordinator to ensure the utmost safety andsecurity of our client's state-of-the-art facility.
This position will primarily be responsible for the following duties. and other duties may change depending on the situation.
1) Sub-con Management
- This position will be responsible for managing subcontractors in Security, and First Aid Room maintenance.
- This role will be to check and instruct the work status of each company based on customer feedback, and
to organize and report work details.
2) Reporting & Compliance
- You must prepare and report the work results for each task, and prepare and manage other necessary
documents (SOP, Others) required for performing the task.
3) Security Operations & Oversight
- Oversee and optimize daily security operations within the facility, including conducting regular audits,
inspections, surveillance for violations/suspicious activities, and performing perimeter checks.
- Maintain detailed logs and records of occurrences, submitting incident reports as necessary.
- Prepare and file all documentation related to security services and Commute Bus operations.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
4) Surveillance System operation
- Conduct periodic inspections of the security system.
- Respond proactively when problems arise with the system.
- Candidates with experience with planning to execution regarding the security system installation.
Required Competencies and Skills
- As a Security Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:
1) Leadership and Team Management
- Ability to manage vendors to improve the work performance of each.
2) Communication and Collaboration
- Strong ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally,
and to solve problems through efficient collaboration.
3) Proficiency in Office Applications
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc) and strong document creation
and management skills.
4) Knowledge about the Singapore security regulations
- Expert knowledge of the legal framework for facility security maintenance is required.
5) Knowledge about the Surveillance system
- Expert knowledge of the legal framework for facility security maintenance is required.
- Operational experience and related knowledge of security systems are required.
Qualifications
1) Minimum 5 years of proven experience in security service management within a large-scale facility,
with strong hands-on knowledge of building and security operations.
2) Proficiency in developing and implementing security SOPs, and expertise in the planning and installation of
security facilities.
3) Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
4) Possession of relevant Security Service Certification (e.g., Senior Security Supervisor or above) is preferred.
5) Prefer candidates who live in the Jurong area with convenient commuting access.
