Job Description

Job Summary

Manage trade settlements and corporate action processes to ensure accurate fund operations and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with custodians and clients to deliver timely transaction execution, reconciliations, and client service reviews, supporting operational excellence and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Execute trade settlements and process corporate action events, including fund subscriptions, redemptions, documentation, transaction execution, cash transfers, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Perform daily reconciliations between custodians records, clients accounts, and internal securities and cash positions to ensure data accuracy
  • Coordinate settlement transactions and liaise with custodians to resolve discrepancies and facilitate smooth operations
  • Process corporate action payments in accordance with client instructions and event timelines
  • Manage cash transactions following client directives to maintain accurate fund flows
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries related to audit requests, statements of accounts, fund transfers, and corporate action events to maintain high service standards
  • Conduct annual service level reviews with custodians to assess performance and compliance
  • Lead client service reviews to evaluate and enhance client satisfaction and operational effectiveness
  • Perform annual Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews for existing clients to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate closely with operational checkers to verify and promptly attend to all client instructions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant discipline
  • At least 2 years of experience in custody settlement, corporate action processing, and cash management

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of investment products including securities, fixed income, foreign exchange (FX), repurchase agreements (Repo), and derivatives such as futures and options
  • Experience using Bloomberg terminal for market and transaction data analysis
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel to prepare reports and presentations
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills to support team objectives and client relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks meticulously and efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
  • High ethical standards in handling confidential and sensitive information
