Section Head of DevSecOps

Responsibilities:

1. Manage deployments, security and support of business solutions
2. Create and maintain cloud infrastrure as code (IAC)
3. Maintain service mesh and the Kubernetes clusters on the environment
4. Ensure that access controls are in place and adhered to including maintaining policies for the various organizational units.
5. Update and maintain developer policies for the engineers on NestJS, Springboot, Kotlin and Swift
6. Collaborates with others team members to design and implement tools that help automate end-to-end processes that involve IT infrastructure and systems.
7. Facilitate and support the troubleshooting or root cause analysis of platform issues or incidents with other internal teams.
8. Setup application monitoring and actionable alerts to support development team operations.
9. Builds, documents, and manages ITSM processes to support auditable operational environments.

Requirements:

1. Familiar with administrative tasks within Linux os-es.
2. Hands-on experience with architecting and automated provisioning (IaC), configuration management for infrastructure and applications.
3. Hands on experience with AWS technologies such as Terraform, ECS Fargate, EC2, VPC, ELB, S3, RDS, Cloudformation etc.
4. Good understanding on networking concepts (routing, firewalls, subnets, DNS, proxy configurations) and cloud networking concepts like ALB, service meshes like Istio or linkerd
5. Strong hands-on experience with mainline programming and scripting languages such as bash, nestjs or springboot.
6. Good understanding of Docker lifecycle maintenance and Gitflow practices.
7. Good knowledge in System, application real time monitoring. (eg: Datadog, Nagios, Splink)
8. Experience establishing, implementing, and delivering using Agile practices.
9. Good understanding of development methodologies, testing practices such as fault injection, and tools and knowing when to apply each method to achieve the desired outcomes.
10. Good verbal and written communications skills and ability to work effectively across organizations and engagements.
