Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons across the full age range to build foundational knowledge and skills in students according to the school's curricular programmes
- Design, prepare, and implement lesson plans that support and enhance learners understanding of the subject.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly, setting measurable goals for improvement and providing detailed reports to parents during meetings
- Lead and participate in extra-curricular activities, school events, assemblies, staff training sessions, and meetings to contribute to the school community
- Promote and maintain health and safety standards within assigned classes to ensure a secure learning environment
- Apply inquiry-based learning techniques to foster critical thinking and student engagement in the classroom
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification certificate
- Demonstrate a minimum of two (2) years of relevant full-time teaching experience as a qualified teacher
- Possess strong knowledge and practical experience teaching languages at the Primary Level.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working in an international school environment
- Demonstrate passion and ability to deliver inquiry-based learning approaches
- Candidates with additional experience may be considered for higher-level positions
