Job Summary
Deliver engaging secondary-level teaching by planning and delivering lessons, assessing learner progress, and collaborating with colleagues to support individual student needs in a dynamic international school environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach secondary-level subjects using inquiry-based, student-centered methods to enhance learner understanding
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that incorporate effective teaching methodologies and subject knowledge
- Collaborate with colleagues to design differentiated learning plans and assessments tailored to individual learner needs
- Assess and monitor student progress, set improvement goals, write student reports, and communicate with parents during meetings
- Lead or participate in extra-curricular activities, school events, assemblies, staff training, and meetings to support school community engagement
- Promote and maintain the health, safety, and wellbeing of all students within the school environment
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a Master's degree
- Possess a minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience as a qualified teacher
- Completed mandatory teacher training
- Demonstrate fluency in spoken and written English
- Experience teaching ICSE, ISC, IGCSE, or A Level classes
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Basic IT skills to support teaching and administrative tasks
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Passion for education with the ability to deliver student-centered, inquiry-based learning
